HomePoint aims to identify and meet the needs of consumers and to improve the standard of housing information and advice provision throughout Scotland.

HomePoint's Advisory Committee, chaired by Board Member, Pat Greenhill, has a wide range of expertise on housing and consumer affairs.

HomePoint has recently launched the Scottish National Standards for Housing Information and Advice Providers.

HomePoint's activities include:

Maintaining a guide to housing options in Scotland.
Developing and supporting a network of housing information and advice providers.
Promoting national standards for housing information and advice.
Awarding grants to support advice providers in the development of activities and projects which respond to identified needs.
Disseminating good practice, general information and training material through a range of publications.
Commissioning research through Scottish Homes annual research programme.
